Faculty of Social Sciences Holds Workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-Based Semester Learning Plan to Improve Learning Quality

On Monday, April 21, 2025, a Workshop on the Development and Assistance of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum was held in Room A8. This activity aimed to enhance the understanding and skills of lecturers in preparing Semester Learning Plans aligned with the OBE approach, as part of efforts to improve the quality of learning within the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Dicky Jhoansyah, S.E., M.A., who emphasized in his opening remarks the importance of implementing OBE in the higher education learning system. He expressed hope that through this workshop, lecturers would not only gain conceptual understanding but also be able to technically implement OBE in the preparation of Semester Learning Plans and curricula oriented toward graduate learning outcomes.

The event continued with a presentation by the main speaker, Dr. Setiono, M.Pd., an expert in curriculum and instruction who also serves as the Head of Learning Quality Division at the University’s Quality Assurance Agency.

With the successful implementation of this workshop, it is expected that the learning process at the Faculty of Social Sciences will become increasingly high-quality.
