Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, involves 3 Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand) to discuss supply chain disruption in ASEAN.


Successfully held an International Webinar titled "Navigating Supply Chain Disruptions in ASEAN: Insights from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand", organized by the Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, via Zoom Meeting on Monday, December 30, 2024. The event was attended by more than 300 participants, including the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, the Head and Secretary of the Business Administration Study Program, faculty members, and staff, as well as external and international parties who contributed to the success of the event.

This webinar served as a platform to enhance knowledge in improving supply chain efficiency and productivity, as well as in reducing the risks and impacts of supply chain disruptions in ASEAN.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, Dr. Dicky Jhoansyah, S.E., M.A. He expressed his gratitude for the attendance of all participants and welcomed the enthusiasm of the speakers who contributed to the success of this international webinar.

The first presentation on "Supply Chain Management Trends in Indonesia" was delivered by Prof. Dr. H. Teddy Hikmat Fauzi, M.Si., a lecturer at the Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Pasundan. He mentioned that the main goal of SCM is to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and provide benefits for organizations.

The next speakers were Mr. Abdul Hakim Abdul Razak from Management & Science University, Malaysia; Dr. Meedian Chumat from Princess of Naradhiwas University, Thailand; and Rizki Hegia Sampurna, Ph.D., from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. They each shared their perspectives on "Supply Chain Disruptions in ASEAN" from the viewpoint of their respective countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

The webinar was conducted interactively, with a discussion session between the speakers and participants.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to the speakers and a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in ensuring the success of the webinar.
